Description

  • Lead the AMER sales organization to deliver consistent quota attainment and strong growth outcomes.
  • Develop regional sales strategy with the Chief Business Officer, sales leadership, and cross-functional partners.
  • Design and implement initiatives to grow new business, improve retention, and increase expansion revenue.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales Development to strengthen inbound and outbound lead flow.
  • Work with Finance and Sales Operations to design quota and compensation plans.
  • Identify and implement improvements to sales processes, systems, and tooling to increase team efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and refine sales playbooks and motions to better understand customer needs and demonstrate value.
  • Hire, develop, and retain an exceptional sales leadership group.
  • Partner with Enablement to create training programs that improve seller effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Product to share customer insights that influence current and future offerings.
  • Plan accurate forecasting across both short and long sales cycles.
  • Engage directly with strategic accounts to support customer experience and close partnerships.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the HR Tech and HR Solutions industry with extensive B2B sales experience.
  • Significant experience leading and motivating layered management teams.
  • Proven sales leadership experience with a strong track record in people development, leadership, and coaching at a high-growth startup.
  • Demonstrated success building sales teams in the AMER region with knowledge of the cultural aspects of selling in the market.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to proactively bring problems and solutions to senior leadership.
  • Ability to design and execute a business plan to achieve revenue goals and align cross-functionally.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Remote work experience is a plus but not required.
  • Willingness to join high-stakes discovery, demo, and closing calls and lead by example.
  • Ability to quickly gain subject matter expertise in payroll and HR tech offerings.
  • Comfort with sales operations work, including territory mapping, pipeline inspection, and hygiene.
  • Low-ego, high-impact approach with comfort supporting both small tasks and executive-level strategy.
