Description

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities through outreach, referrals, and channel partnerships.
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand client cybersecurity needs and align Recorded Future solutions.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to expand reach and generate qualified leads.
  • Drive marketing outreach and engagement for relevant audiences in the territory.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells.
  • Build multi-level relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support customer success and prevent churn.
  • Lead sales cycle activities including qualification, proposals, presentations, and deal tracking through close.
  • Assist with negotiation and closing by coordinating internal stakeholders and preparing materials.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline data in Salesforce/Clari for forecasting and reporting.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of quota-carrying software sales experience.
  • 4+ years of selling experience in the SLED market and to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of achieving assigned quotas.
  • Experience selling cybersecurity solutions is strongly preferred.
  • Experience selling to Midwest public sector accounts is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly effective written, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Google Workspace, Slack, and sales productivity tools.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% across the Midwest region.
  • Residence in IL, OH, MI, WI, MN, MO, IN, IA, KS, or NE is ideal.
  • Comfort calling at the senior executive level.

  • Base salary range of $123,000-$184,000.
