Description

  • Design and build major infrastructure components and platforms.
  • Lead Kubernetes and container orchestration strategy for varied application workloads.
  • Design and optimize infrastructure for performance, resource utilization, and cost efficiency.
  • Implement SLOs, monitoring, and observability solutions.
  • Design resilient, multi-region AWS architectures using infrastructure-as-code.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies for safer, faster releases.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and lead infrastructure incident response and post-incident analysis.
  • Integrate AI tools into infrastructure workflows to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with security teams on secure-by-design infrastructure and compliance controls.
  • Mentor infrastructure engineers and improve established systems incrementally.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience, including scalable infrastructure design and implementation.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, systems administration, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may substitute.
  • Strong production experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Expertise with AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Ansible.
  • Experience tuning and optimizing infrastructure and applications.
  • Experience with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or comparable observability tools.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, Go, Ruby, or similar scripting and automation languages.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, transparency, and cross-team working skills.
  • Experience with SRE practices, multi-region infrastructure, network security, and infrastructure security is preferred.
  • Preferred experience includes Node.js performance optimization, database administration, service meshes, other cloud platforms, disaster recovery, application profiling, and AI-enhanced infrastructure workflows.
