Description

  • Own environment provisioning and platform readiness across lakehouse and cloud-warehouse layers.
  • Build and operate Git-based CI/CD pipelines for metric definitions and transformation logic across development, test, UAT, and production.
  • Implement automated regression and reconciliation testing gates for each promotion.
  • Monitor and alert on replication failures, lag, schema changes, landing-zone health, warehouse refreshes, and cost anomalies.
  • Own platform cost attribution and consumption monitoring across warehouses and compute.
  • Maintain architecture decision records and other delivery documentation with the Architect.
  • Create operational runbooks for replication recovery, reconciliation triage, metric changes, and cost-anomaly response.
  • Support ongoing knowledge transfer through paired working sessions with the client operations team.

Requirements

  • Experience in DataOps or platform engineering roles supporting production cloud data platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD for data pipelines, including Git workflows, automated testing, regression gates, and multi-environment promotion.
  • Experience monitoring and alerting on CDC replication pipelines and cloud data warehouses; Snowflake experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience owning platform reliability and cost governance.
  • Fluent English at B2 level or higher.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or OneLake operational concerns, including capacity and landing-zone health (preferred).
  • Experience writing production runbooks and leading client knowledge transfer (preferred).
  • Experience with Qlik Replicate (preferred).
  • Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial-services environments with strict change-control practices (preferred).
