Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservice-based applications.
  • Define and implement integration patterns between internal and external systems.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions involving distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and application design.
  • Build and operate cloud-native workloads on Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Run.
  • Define and maintain infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Apply TDD, Clean Code, automated testing, code reviews, and pair programming.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders across the software development lifecycle.
  • Document technical solutions and processes using Confluence.
  • Manage development activities using Jira, Git, and GitLab, while applying AI-assisted engineering tools.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience in backend software development.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and REST APIs.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud-native application development.
  • Practical experience with Cloud Run or similar container/serverless platforms.
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of TDD, Clean Code, code reviews, pair programming, and CI/CD.
  • Experience with Git-based workflows, preferably GitLab, plus Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience incorporating AI tools into software engineering workflows.
  • TypeScript, Single Page Application, Nuxt, or NuxtUI experience preferred.
  • Broader full-stack experience and containerized/serverless system design experience preferred.
