Description

  • Own top-of-funnel metrics and multi-year marketing plans across the retail investor, personal loan, and credit card businesses.
  • Drive scalable customer acquisition and deliver results against aggressive volume targets.
  • Assess support needs, build internal alignment, and coordinate cross-functional execution to launch and grow products.
  • Lead performance-based acquisition across multiple channels, including digital, direct mail, and lead aggregators.
  • Oversee market research, customer research, and competitor analysis to inform strategy and positioning.
  • Develop and execute a proactive public relations strategy to strengthen market and media awareness of Prosper’s advantages.
  • Partner on new product design and provide market intelligence and customer insights to shape the product roadmap.
  • Mentor and lead a 21-person marketing organization and help build a data-first, high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, executive team, and leaders in Product, Credit, and Operations to improve the borrower and investor experience.
  • Present marketing performance, strategy, and vision to employees and the Board of Directors.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of marketing experience, with deep expertise in personal loans and financial services.
  • Experience spanning content, digital, and product marketing.
  • Proven track record of driving ROI-positive acquisition across multiple channels.
  • Strong analytical rigor and the ability to use performance data to adjust strategy and identify new segments.
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience operating in a regulated financial services environment with strong compliance and advertising fluency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience leading and mentoring large teams is preferred.
  • Familiarity with machine learning targeting models and customer research is preferred.
