Description

  • Work as part of a cross-functional, stream-aligned product engineering team with engineering, product, design, and other engineers.
  • Plan, build, and support software using agile development practices and a product mindset.
  • Collaborate with teams outside product engineering and work closely with customers to understand their needs.
  • Take ownership of products from code commit through production operation under a You Build It, You Run It model.
  • Support production systems using monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, RUM, and tracing.
  • Help maintain stable, observable systems and high-quality engineering practices.
  • Contribute to and improve the engineering culture by championing company principles and growth mindset behaviors.
  • Question assumptions and push for high-value, high-impact product decisions for users.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of modern web applications.
  • Experience building TypeScript/JavaScript applications and using NoSQL databases.
  • Experience using Python.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
  • Experience using AWS serverless and/or GCP.
  • Experience supporting applications in production with strong observability practices in a full-stack environment.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment with strong engineering practices.
  • Customer-value-focused mindset with interest in the full product lifecycle.
  • Comfort working across major cloud providers, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Passion for software development with an appetite for learning and self-improvement.
