Description

  • Master the frameworks, languages, tools, and services used by the team.
  • Deliver software solutions for the impact.com platform with awareness of customer needs.
  • Build, maintain, and monitor scalable software that processes thousands of events per second.
  • Solve complex business problems through platform development and implementation.
  • Contribute ideas and technical input as a key member of a small, cohesive engineering team.

Requirements

  • Diploma or BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong command of Java and familiarity with functional programming style.
  • Experience with Spring and Hibernate.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks, specifically Vue.js.
  • Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or MSSQL.
  • Experience with GCP and GitHub.
  • Experience with real-time streaming technologies such as Kafka or Google Pub/Sub is a plus.
  • Experience deploying and monitoring end-to-end web applications, using tools such as Gradle, Maven, and/or Jenkins is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good command of a Linux environment.
  • Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA is nice to have.

  • Salary range of $110,000 - $130,000 CAD per year.
  • Additional 5% variable annual bonus based on company performance.
