Description

  • Build and maintain the React-based trading user interface.
  • Implement real-time interfaces for live order book updates, price feeds, and trade executions using WebSockets.
  • Own component architecture, state management, and responsive design.
  • Optimize frontend rendering, load times, and low-latency interactions under heavy data loads.
  • Design and maintain TypeScript services, including REST APIs, WebSocket servers, and background services.
  • Design and deliver event-driven pipelines that ingest and process pricing and account data.
  • Own REST and WebSocket API contracts, maintain API documentation, and ensure smooth frontend-backend data flow.
  • Interact with on-chain data, index blockchain events, and bridge smart contracts with off-chain services.
  • Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests across frontend and backend systems.
  • Work closely with product, design, and quantitative teams in a cross-functional environment.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in fullstack software engineering.
  • Deep expertise in TypeScript across both frontend and backend development.
  • Strong experience with React and modern state management patterns such as hooks or context.
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs and WebSocket real-time data protocols.
  • Proficiency with Node.js or Bun server-side runtimes.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and ORMs such as Prisma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Redis or similar caching and pub/sub systems.
  • Strong experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
  • Clear communication skills for a fully remote, distributed, cross-functional team.
  • Must be able to work European hours; Europe preferred.
  • 8+ years of fullstack experience, ideally in fintech, trading platforms, or real-time data applications.
  • Experience with Rust or C++ for high-scalability web services is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Web3 frontend tooling such as ethers.js, viem, or client-side wallet integrations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of event-driven and messaging architectures such as Kafka or Google Pub/Sub is preferred.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Winston logging is preferred.
