Description

  • Review current account development processes, messaging, and technologies and recommend improvements.
  • Help establish account development production expectations and metrics aligned to corporate goals.
  • Collaborate with Business Development leadership on performance review, mentoring, and development.
  • Lead weekly territory outreach planning calls for newly identified Tier 2 accounts.
  • Identify potential clients and contacts using ideal account profiles and tools such as Citeline, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision makers and introduce capabilities to support RFP and bid participation.
  • Develop improved outreach messaging using activity and results data to increase client response and engagement.
  • Develop and deploy territory and account strategies using account profiling, pipeline information, and therapeutic content.
  • Initiate the sales process through calls, emails, and direct mail, and engage Business Development for face-to-face meetings when appropriate.
  • Set up regional and conference meetings for Business Development representatives in coordination with Marketing.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity reports for leadership review.
  • Ensure all activity is accurately recorded in Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Mentor and train new members of the Inside Sales team.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders across Contracts & Proposals, Clinical Operations, and Marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, ideally in a business, scientific, or healthcare discipline.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
  • 5 or more years of experience in the CRO/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Availability for occasional domestic and international travel, including overnight stays.
  • Account development and sales experience is preferred.
  • Postgraduate education is preferred.
  • Keen understanding of the oncology and rare disease development market and Precision for Medicine’s role in it.
  • Practical knowledge of IT tools and systems used by the company and project teams.
  • Ability to resolve company and client issues, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines with limited management support.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentations to diverse audiences.
