Description

  • Design, train, and deploy machine learning models for marketing, forecasting, and operational use cases.
  • Monitor model performance, detect drift or deterioration, and help implement corrective actions.
  • Develop time-series forecasts and performance dashboards that support business decision-making.
  • Clean, transform, and maintain structured datasets for analytics and modeling.
  • Partner with marketing, product, and business teams to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Produce documentation for models, data pipelines, and related processes.
  • Communicate insights and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Perform advanced analytics work such as root-cause analysis, trend identification, and business projections.

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience in data science, applied statistics, or machine learning; internships and projects count.
  • Familiarity with AI toolkits such as Claude, Gemini, or similar.
  • Strong Python skills, including Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn; PyTorch or TensorFlow is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL for data extraction and transformation.
  • Experience with core machine learning workflows, including preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and monitoring.
  • Understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, or Seaborn.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field; master’s degree is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of AI tools.
  • Preferred experience with BI dashboarding tools such as Sigma or Tableau.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn, especially in model monitoring, forecasting, and marketing analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Must reside in one of Point’s approved U.S. states of operation.
