Description

  • Lead business development efforts for Phillips Additive Manufacturing's Directed Energy Deposition (DED) portfolio.
  • Own the front-end pipeline by targeting high-fit accounts and mapping customer opportunities.
  • Guide prospects from early-stage interest through validation and production readiness.
  • Conduct consultative discovery to assess applications, technology fit, and business case needs.
  • Coordinate with OEM partners, application engineers, and regional sales teams to advance opportunities.
  • Manage CRM activity, competitive intelligence, and targeted marketing campaigns to build a predictable pipeline.
  • Feed market insights and competitive intelligence back to leadership to inform product strategy and close capability gaps.
  • Represent Phillips in customer meetings, trade shows, conferences, and other professional events.
  • Develop long-term customer partnerships that drive revenue growth and margin expansion.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of additive business development and sales experience, preferably involving DED or other high-value additive technology; required for consideration.
  • Advanced experience using Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365 to manage accounts, track opportunities, and forecast revenue accurately.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Excel, Power BI, or Tableau, plus PowerPoint, Google Slides, or similar presentation tools.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, market intelligence platforms, or specialized AM industry databases to identify and engage strategic targets.
  • Ability to travel 80% or more throughout the United States to meet customers and represent Phillips at events.
  • Experience in defense, maritime, aerospace, or energy markets is strongly relevant.
  • Strong consultative selling and application discovery experience is implied by the role.
  • Continuous learning mindset and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment are important for success.
