Description

  • Meet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual partner-driven sales quotas within the global territory.
  • Proactively recruit, qualify, onboard, and enable new high-potential value-added resellers (VARs), systems integrators (SIs), and technology partners.
  • Develop and run Partner Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to align mutual performance objectives and financial targets.
  • Generate leads and identify new sales opportunities within the partner ecosystem and facilitate joint account planning with partners and Perforce sales teams.
  • Execute partner enablement programs to develop partners’ sales, pre-sales, and delivery capabilities and apply Perforce training programs.
  • Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key VARs, GSIs, and systems integrators to drive customer success, retention, adoption, and revenue growth.
  • Identify and execute joint marketing campaigns, case studies, win stories, and co-marketing events to increase brand visibility and lead generation.
  • Provide governance through sales analysis, pipeline reviews, and regular tracking/reporting of partner activities and results using Salesforce CRM.
  • Manage partner conflict and ensure seamless coordination with internal teams (direct sales, inside sales, marketing, services) and senior Perforce leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of partner sales experience working with VARs and/or systems integrators with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting, developing, and managing relationships with VARs, GSIs, and technology partners; global territory experience preferred.
  • Proven history of exceeding software sales quotas through strategic partners across enterprise, transactional, and subscription licensing models.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills with the ability to drive complex, long sales cycles and close deals alongside partners.
  • Experience selling with partners at the CxO and senior sales/business manager levels and building executive-level relationships.
  • Solid technical understanding with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for partners and customers.
  • Superior presentation, verbal, and written communication skills and comfort working with multiple internal teams including senior executives.
  • Extensive experience managing, tracking, and reporting partner activities using Salesforce CRM or similar platforms.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including internationally, and to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative partner engagement and sales performance strategies.

Benefits

  • Total compensation range reported: $155,000 - $310,000 per year; base pay targeted at $145,000 - $155,000 USD.
