Description

  • Build, launch, and optimize email campaigns across major email service platforms.
  • Write subject lines, email copy, calls to action, and other campaign content tailored to audience segments.
  • Design and optimize responsive email templates and make light HTML/CSS edits when needed.
  • Manage and segment email databases, including cleaning lists and maintaining audience data quality.
  • Build and maintain automation workflows such as drip campaigns, nurture sequences, abandoned cart flows, and onboarding journeys.
  • Test workflow logic, trigger conditions, and automation behavior to ensure campaigns function correctly.
  • Monitor sender reputation, inbox placement, deliverability, and email authentication settings.
  • Troubleshoot deliverability issues and maintain compliance with email marketing and privacy regulations.
  • Run A/B tests across subject lines, CTAs, send times, layouts, and messaging.
  • Analyze campaign performance and create reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional email marketing experience.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major ESP such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, Mailchimp, or ActiveCampaign.
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation and email automation workflows.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting, and segmentation.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email template customization.
  • Experience tracking and analyzing email campaign performance metrics.
  • Experience managing email programs for 50k+ contacts is preferred.
  • Familiarity with deliverability and inbox placement tools such as Litmus, GlockApps, or Postmark is preferred.
  • Experience integrating ESPs with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot is preferred.
  • Background in SaaS, e-commerce, or professional services is preferred.
  • Understanding of lifecycle marketing and behavioral email strategies is preferred.
