Description

  • Own and execute go-to-market strategy for vertical-specific paid events and companion newsletters.
  • Plan and deliver integrated campaigns around event promotion, speaker reveals, agenda teasers, clips, and post-event recaps.
  • Build and manage partner distribution with authors, creators, and community operators across developer-native channels.
  • Structure and negotiate rev-share, list-share, newsletter swap, co-hosted stream, and bundle deals to expand reach and improve conversions.
  • Run small paid media and retargeting tests to amplify partner traction while protecting margins.
  • Use AI-assisted workflows to turn long-form talks and interviews into shorts, threads, carousels, email snippets, and landing-page content.
  • Define KPIs, build dashboards, and analyze funnel performance across events, partners, and newsletters.
  • Maintain a rolling content calendar and repurpose event insights into multi-channel assets that grow owned audience and future sales.
  • Coordinate community engagement, contributor assets, AMAs, and audience feedback loops to improve topics and formats.
  • Document repeatable playbooks for outreach, newsletter swaps, and post-event promotion loops across verticals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, GTM, or growth with direct ownership from planning through execution.
  • Proven impact launching or scaling programs, ideally for developer-focused or technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated success with partner, creator, or community distribution, including newsletter swaps, rev-shares, and co-marketing.
  • Strong understanding of event funnels and newsletter economics, including list growth, engagement, and sponsorship readiness.
  • Hands-on experience with ESP/CRM and analytics tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, GA, Looker/Datastudio, or similar platforms.
  • Comfort with light paid media across LinkedIn, Meta, and Google as an amplifier rather than a primary growth engine.
  • Strong discipline in UTMs, source tagging, dashboarding, and performance analysis.
  • Familiarity with developer-native channels such as Reddit, Discord, GitHub, YouTube/Twitch, and LinkedIn.
  • Background in AI, security, game development, web/software engineering, data/ML, or developer tools is a plus.
  • Experience running ticketed workshops or bootcamps and securing newsletter sponsorships is preferred.
  • Familiarity with outbound automation and enrichment tools such as Clay, Apollo, or Lusha is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of landing-page testing, attribution, and pricing or offer experiments such as teams bundles and bring-a-friend offers is a plus.
