Description

  • Execute the commercial strategy for ORCA T® across the assigned region.
  • Lead, manage, motivate, train, and coach a team of Orca-T Account Managers in the field.
  • Identify, evaluate, and help authorize potential ORCA T® treatment sites.
  • Partner with marketing, sales training, sales operations, and other cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and teamwork.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor account strategy with the VP of Account Management, Brand Team, Sales Training, and Sales Operations.
  • Build mechanisms and processes to track account activity against goals and provide ongoing feedback to the organization.
  • Coach the team on complex clinical and operational topics related to cell therapy, transplant, oncology, and processes.
  • Manage individual contributor performance, retain top talent, and create individualized career development plans.
  • Support Orca Therapeutic Account Managers in the field to deliver forecast and business objectives.
  • Ensure the U.S. Account Management Team operates in a compliant manner and delivers strong results.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare, biotech, or pharmaceutical environments, preferably in cell therapy.
  • 4+ years of people management experience.
  • Extensive oncology clinical and operational acumen.
  • Academic oncology experience and experience managing large academic accounts.
  • Exceptional leadership and performance management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional programs and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proven track record of achieving goals and objectives.
  • Experience retaining top talent and developing high-potential team members.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, good business conduct principles, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and manage extensive travel.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in oncology account management within an academic setting preferred.
  • Deep clinical expertise in hematology/oncology and understanding of the treatment/transplant landscape preferred.
  • Experience with large account management and direct or indirect line leadership preferred.
  • Strong clinical understanding of BMT/cell therapy and complex treatment logistics preferred.
  • Direct line leadership experience preferred.
