Description

  • Act as regional team lead for the Philippines market.
  • Help build and execute a regional strategy to increase Agoda’s footprint.
  • Coordinate with senior management on strategic planning and objectives.
  • Conduct market research on industry and market trends to keep Agoda’s products competitive.
  • Represent Agoda at tradeshows, workshops, and events to promote the brand and products.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key decision makers at hotels, technology partners, and other partners.
  • Build a 360-degree view of supply quality in the region and create plans to address gaps.
  • Lead market managers in managing successful hotel partnerships.
  • Support market managers during partner visits and against internal goals, targets, and objectives.
  • Develop tools and processes to improve team productivity and efficiency.
  • Implement partner strategies and promotional activities to strengthen competitiveness and performance.
  • Help with recruitment and coach the team to develop a high-performing organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; MBA is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of sales experience in a fast-growing, globally operating travel or e-commerce company.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading successful teams in e-commerce or travel industry roles.
  • Proven track record as a leader that others look up to.
  • Exceptionally strong Excel and data visualization skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a proven track record of using data to make decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to report to and persuade different levels, including senior management.
  • Ability to communicate value propositions and recommend solutions to potential partners.
  • Professional "get it done" attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to adapt well to and be energized by change.
  • Experience in the travel industry is preferred.
