Description

  • Own and grow a defined revenue base for strategic and key accounts, including an individual sales target tied to new technology offerings.
  • Lead customer-facing commercialization of new and emerging technologies, including positioning, value proposition, and pricing approach.
  • Build and nurture senior-level relationships with strategic customers, partners, and opinion leaders.
  • Flex priorities and resources to pursue high-value opportunities such as new market entry and post-acquisition revenue acceleration.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, R&D, Regulatory, Operations, Legal, and Business Development to shape market-ready offerings and commercial strategies.
  • Define account-level and opportunity-level strategies for pricing, contracting, and partnership structures.
  • Provide voice-of-customer and competitive insights to R&D and executive leadership to inform portfolio and investment decisions.
  • Build and deliver executive-level proposals, presentations, and negotiations with customers, partners, and acquisition targets.
  • Coordinate with the broader Sales organization to ensure alignment, hand-offs, and shared visibility on strategic accounts.
  • Partner on commercial integration plans for acquired companies and help realize revenue synergies post-close.
  • Represent OraSure at industry conferences, customer summits, and other external forums.

Requirements

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Ability to achieve results in a cross-functional, matrixed environment with strong leadership, communication, and goal orientation.
  • Proven track record of exceeding individual and team revenue targets in a complex B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated success commercializing new and emerging technologies and translating technical capabilities into customer value propositions.
  • Experience executing post-acquisition commercial integration and capturing revenue synergies is preferred.
  • Strong executive presence with an established network of key opinion leaders in relevant markets.
  • Excellent business, financial, and commercial acumen, including pricing strategy, deal structuring, contract negotiation, and business case development.
  • Highly organized, with strong record-keeping skills and proficiency in Salesforce or a similar CRM, MS Office, and virtual meeting tools such as Teams or Zoom.
  • Strong solution-based selling and relationship-building skills in enterprise sales environments.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation communication skills for C-suite and senior executive audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in health, science, business, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or MBA is highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience in sales, business development, strategic account management, or new product introductions in life sciences, diagnostics, biomedical, or related markets.
  • Experience selling into complex customer environments such as Health Systems/IDNs, Distribution Partners, Reference Labs, Pharma/CRO, or Retail.
  • Experience in a senior individual-contributor or commercial leadership role carrying an individual revenue target.
  • Experience supporting or leading M&A integration and revenue growth strategies for acquired businesses is preferred.
