Description

  • Respond promptly and enthusiastically to inbound inquiries about ValGenesis products and solutions by phone.
  • Qualify prospects by assessing interest and readiness to move forward with a sales engagement.
  • Proactively call and follow up with marketing leads that have self-qualified through prior engagement activities.
  • Engage high-interest prospects on LinkedIn and other channels, including cold-calling targeted high-potential lists.
  • Schedule pre-demo meetings with the appropriate regional sales representative after a lead is qualified.
  • Attend virtual or in-person events as a ValGenesis representative when needed and able to travel safely.
  • Update marketing and sales systems with call activity, outreach details, and lead information to keep data accurate.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to share feedback on lead quality, channel effectiveness, and process improvements.
  • Contribute to regular reporting and participate in ongoing product and solutions training.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in a call center or another phone-centric role speaking with customers, prospects, or partners.
  • Previous experience in the life sciences industry is desirable.
  • Strong enthusiasm for speaking with people and helping them identify solutions that improve their professional work.
  • Comfort with a base-plus-commission compensation model and motivation to hit targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-starting work style.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to stay organized, follow processes, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to travel 5–15% of the time for conferences and company exhibit or booth support.
