Description

  • Develop relationships with end-users, key opinion leaders, market influencers, and distribution sales professionals in the assigned territory.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales quotas and account close goals.
  • Prospect new customers and generate demand within the prescribed territory.
  • Support, train, and assist new customers with validations and product implementation.
  • Manage distribution partners to educate, direct, and hold them accountable for driving demand and sales.
  • Prepare and present business reviews, forecasts, business plans, and territory reports for sales management and key customers.
  • Follow up with new and existing customers to ensure proper product use, training completion, and expansion opportunities.
  • Provide customer support, resolve issues proactively, and deliver outstanding service to accounts.
  • Use Salesforce CRM daily to manage contacts, leads, pipeline activity, and documentation.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, in-service presentations, trade show support, and customer meetings both face-to-face and virtually.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Must live in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Iowa.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% depending on territory.
  • Experience in the diagnostics marketplace.
  • Ability to present products effectively and close new business.
  • Ability to write and follow a territory business plan.
  • Strong communication, self-motivation, initiative, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar platforms.
  • Ability to prepare or respond to requests for proposal (RFPs).
  • Knowledge of the competitive marketplace, or ability to learn it quickly.
  • Ability to operate company-provided business tools such as a laptop and phone.
