Description

  • Review and lead the gathering of business, functional, and technical requirements for Okta identity platform implementations.
  • Work with customers to document technical and functional requirements for specific solutions.
  • Support creation of project plans for proposed solution development and implementation.
  • Translate requirements into designs and provide technical leadership and oversight as part of the delivery team.
  • Assist with periodic customer health checks and project reviews.
  • Develop trusted customer relationships and help translate business needs into actionable strategies.
  • Support CIC customers in customer identity use cases and implementation initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of overall IT or software development experience, including solution design and technical architecture.
  • 3+ years of consulting experience.
  • 3+ years driving application architecture design.
  • 3+ years of experience with IAM architectures.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing cloud computing solutions such as AWS, Google Apps, or Salesforce.
  • Experience with customer identity use cases for B2C and B2B, including user registration, MFA, SSO, delegated administration, and social identities.
  • Experience leading discovery workshops and developing functional and system design specifications for customer engagements.
  • Strong knowledge of security architecture, LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, SSO, RBAC, OAuth, OIDC, and web protocols including XML, SOAP, JSON, and REST.
  • Proficiency in one or more of Java, .Net, JavaScript, Angular, or React.
  • Ability to work with CxOs and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience integrating with multiple on-premises and SaaS products.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Okta Certified Technical Architect, or Okta Certified Consultant and Okta Certified Developer, is a plus.
  • TOGAF and/or CISSP certification is a plus.
  • Preferred experience with Okta, software development security, cryptography, API gateways, CASB, reverse proxies, cloud/virtualization technologies, open-source tools, git, and Subversion.
