Description

  • Act as the senior day-to-day relationship lead for allocated university client accounts.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with stakeholders across operational and executive levels.
  • Align OES services with client priorities, institutional objectives, and evolving needs.
  • Lead structured account planning and quarterly business reviews with clear objectives, actions, and outcomes.
  • Monitor client health across delivery performance, risk, and stakeholder satisfaction, and respond proactively to issues.
  • Work with Delivery and Service Leads to resolve challenges and maintain client confidence.
  • Support contract renewals and maintain continuity of partnership relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts with additional OES services and strategic offerings.
  • Partner with Growth Support, Delivery, and specialist teams to transition, introduce, and progress new service opportunities.
  • Provide client insight and feedback to Product, Marketing, and Delivery teams to support continuous improvement.
  • Represent OES in client meetings, reviews, and selected sector events, and strengthen client advocacy.

Requirements

  • Senior experience in client success, account management, or strategic relationship management.
  • Experience gained within higher education, EdTech, online learning, or professional services.
  • Ability to engage credibly with senior university leaders, including Pro-Vice Chancellors, Deans, Chief Information Officers, and Directors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder client relationships at a senior institutional level.
  • Strong consultative communication skills and confidence in executive-level conversations.
  • Commercial awareness with experience identifying and supporting growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across commercial and delivery teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage time and priorities independently.
  • Working knowledge of the UK higher education landscape and digital transformation challenges is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in building long-term institutional relationships and supporting renewals is preferred.
