Description

  • Create, implement, measure, and review strategic and operational plans aligned to corporate business goals.
  • Lead territory planning, account planning and reviews, opportunity inspection, pipeline management, and forecast calls.
  • Coach the sales team on how to position and articulate the company’s value proposition.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business activities and regional growth.
  • Plan and manage expenses for the region.
  • Build and maintain external relationships that support business goals.
  • Foster teamwork and cross-functional collaboration across sales engineering, alliances, customer success, renewals, product, legal, marketing, and engineering.
  • Attract, recruit, build, mentor, and develop the sales team to deliver business results.
  • Drive performance reviews and development planning through annual and quarterly review meetings.
  • Manage customer relationships and escalations, and drive initiatives that improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Past sales leadership experience in a SaaS cybersecurity company.
  • Previous experience developing a successful sales function across the West region.
  • Multiple years of experience meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing startup environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships.
  • Ability to map out long-term vision and strategy with a growth mindset.
  • Commitment to a positive, can-do team culture.
  • An established partner network.
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Southern California, Seattle, or Denver (role location).
