Description

  • Establish and manage RCM KPIs, including denial rate, AR days, clean claim rate, collections, aging, and productivity.
  • Build performance reporting, identify trends and revenue leakage, and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Lead recurring performance reviews and communicate RCM challenges, opportunities, and measurable results.
  • Analyze denial, appeal, AR, and payer issues to identify root causes and drive systemic corrective action.
  • Assess end-to-end RCM processes, systems, and handoffs to reduce friction and prevent lost revenue.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and partner with technology, RPA, and innovation teams on appropriate automation.
  • Build and lead a high-performing RCM team with clear roles, expectations, accountability, and development plans.
  • Use workload, productivity, and performance data to plan staffing and support operational growth.
  • Partner with senior leadership, internal teams, payers, and healthcare clients to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in US healthcare RCM or medical billing, including meaningful leadership responsibility.
  • Strong experience across the full revenue cycle, including denials, appeals, AR, and payer processes.
  • Working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA and US healthcare requirements.
  • Experience leading an RCM team, function, or outsourced RCM operation.
  • Demonstrated ability to use KPIs and data to improve operational and financial performance.
  • Experience leading process improvement and/or automation initiatives.
  • Experience with workforce planning, team development, and scaling operations.
  • Confidence working independently with senior leaders, executives, and/or healthcare clients; CPC, CRCR, or CCS certification preferred.
