Description

  • Lead, coach, and mentor billing managers while developing succession plans and team engagement.
  • Translate organizational goals into team KPIs, accountability standards, and performance metrics.
  • Oversee workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource allocation for scaling operations.
  • Own end-to-end revenue cycle operations, including claims, payer follow-up, appeals, denials, write-offs, and collections.
  • Establish SOPs, monitor operational KPIs, and lead recurring RCM performance reporting.
  • Direct payer onboarding, including market research, contracting, CAQH maintenance, re-credentialing, and delegated credentialing.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize and implement claims automation initiatives.
  • Coordinate strategic payer launches and execute high-priority operational projects.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex operational, interdepartmental, and personnel issues.

Requirements

  • CPC and/or CPB certification required.
  • At least 5 years of healthcare leadership experience.
  • Expertise in telemedicine billing and coding for substance use disorder, opioid use disorder, and G codes.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and leading managers or team leads.
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle processes, including billing, charge capture, contractual adjustments, reimbursements, collections, and cash management.
  • Knowledge of revenue integrity, CPT and ICD-10 coding, documentation, and billing compliance requirements.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and strong data analysis capabilities.
  • Experience creating executive-level reports and dashboards from operational metrics.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and project managing internal initiatives.
  • Ability to use AI tools and emerging technologies to improve workflows and efficiency.
  • Strong payer communication, written and verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
