Description

  • Define the long-term strategy and organizational design for the Professional Learning Services team.
  • Lead and develop a team of Professional Learning Managers.
  • Own the Professional Learning P&L and report on its impact to senior leadership.
  • Build and scale the Professional Learning team to support company growth and go-to-market priorities.
  • Define and own the metrics framework for team performance, content effectiveness, and customer outcomes.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives to improve scalability and operational effectiveness.
  • Define the strategic framework for Professional Learning content based on educational research and adult-learning best practices.
  • Ensure Professional Learning offerings drive customer ROI, teacher engagement, and product adoption.
  • Partner with Product and Marketing to align learning strategy with product capabilities, customer needs, and market positioning.
  • Establish a multi-year content delivery strategy that supports the customer journey, retention, and expansion.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Sales to connect Professional Learning outcomes to renewal and expansion results.
  • Evaluate Professional Learning resources across educator, administrator, and student outcomes and adapt content accordingly.
  • Own vendor relationships, contracts, and budget planning for the Professional Learning function.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in professional learning or educational services leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a strategic function or P&L at the Director level or higher.
  • Experience building, scaling, and leading a high-performing team of managers.
  • Experience with talent development, organizational design, and coaching toward measurable commercial and impact goals.
  • Executive-level expertise in adult learning theory, literacy instruction, and the competitive K-12 landscape.
  • Experience using technology and data such as Salesforce and LMS tools to drive operational efficiency and strategic P&L decisions.
  • Experience presenting, negotiating, and aligning multi-year strategic proposals, budget forecasts, and commercial performance data with VP-level and above stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time year-round.
  • Background check required as part of the pre-employment process.

  • Base compensation range of $115,000 to $132,000 USD.
  • Total compensation includes incentive stock options.
