Description

  • Own the technical roadmap for startup community platforms, including the founder portal, Slack, Discord, and third-party integrations.
  • Build, structure, populate, and maintain the founder experience portal with onboarding content, resources, playbooks, and education materials.
  • Own newsletter and online community programming to ensure consistent delivery, segmentation, and engagement.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing Operations to support CRM integration and ensure community touchpoints are tracked and segmented correctly.
  • Own the execution of virtual community programs and events, including office hours, AMAs, onboarding sessions, and workshops.
  • Manage event tooling, registration, communications, and follow-up to make virtual programs repeatable and measurable.
  • Define KPIs focused on community growth, engagement, and retention.
  • Develop reporting dashboards and provide actionable insights on community health, platform adoption, and program effectiveness.
  • Optimize systems using data and feedback by identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements.
  • Provide operational support for marketing leads on event execution, data capture, and related workflows.
  • Develop and maintain operational playbooks and documentation for consistent use across regions and teams.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in community operations or management, marketing operations, or a related role in a startup or technology environment.
  • Proven experience owning and integrating community platforms such as Slack, Discord, or Circle, along with event tools and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards, defining KPIs, and improving systems based on data.
  • Experience operating newsletters, virtual programs, or digital communities at scale.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning complex systems in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
  • Deep understanding of community-led growth.
  • Familiarity with AI, cloud, or developer-focused startup ecosystems.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce or HubSpot, including reporting and integrations, preferred.
  • Experience managing technical documentation, knowledge bases, or developer-facing resources, preferred.
  • Background in B2B or cloud environments where community activity supports business outcomes, preferred.
