Description

  • Own end-to-end development of AI observability features, from data ingestion through in-product visualizations.
  • Architect and evolve data models and infrastructure for observing AI agents and their ecosystems.
  • Build systems that surface AI-specific signals including cost, token usage, errors, and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to create intuitive workflows for customers.
  • Develop practices for exploring and understanding AI behavior across conversations and workloads.
  • Iterate through experimentation and rapid feedback loops while sharing results and learnings.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation after approximately 90 days.

Requirements

  • Significant software engineering experience with a record of shipping and owning features end to end.
  • Experience delivering customer-facing SaaS features beyond internal tooling.
  • Full-stack proficiency, including backend development with Go and/or Python.
  • Frontend development experience with TypeScript and React.
  • Experience collaborating closely with product managers and designers.
  • Regular hands-on use of AI tools in engineering work.
  • Experience participating in an on-call rotation.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting requirements in a fast-moving, experimentation-driven environment.
  • Experience building production LLM- or agent-powered features (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry (preferred).

  • Base salary of $183,340–$206,000 USD, based on experience level.
