Description

  • Lead the Identity & Security Product Management team delivering IAM, Queryable Encryption, and other customer-facing security features across the MongoDB platform.
  • Drive platform security and compliance requirements for highly regulated customers into MongoDB products.
  • Collaborate across Engineering, Customer Support, Marketing, Sales, and Executive Leadership to execute product strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for identity and security ownership areas in partnership with engineering counterparts.
  • Build strategic, operational, and tactical recommendations to improve customer security posture and compliance positioning.
  • Evangelize security solutions with customers, industry thought leaders, partners, and key accounts, including at conferences and trade shows.
  • Define security go-to-market strategies by identifying market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer opportunities.
  • Plan and manage programs with regional and global sales leadership to execute security strategies.
  • Drive decision-making on prioritization, functionality, solutions, and pricing.
  • Ensure product decisions align with broader product, customer, and company priorities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience managing teams and demonstrating leadership across diverse viewpoints.
  • 10+ years of product and/or engineering security experience with enterprise-focused technologies and customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to large executive audiences and global enterprise customers.
  • Experience or expertise in one or more relevant certifications, such as CEH, GSEC, CISM, Security+, CISSP, CISA, SSCP, CASP+, OSCP, AWS Solution Architect Pro, AWS Security, or AWS Advanced Networking Specialty.
  • Working knowledge and/or hands-on experience with identity and access management, operating system and platform security, network security, database security, and network/web protocols.
  • Strong subject matter expertise in IT security and risk management.
  • Experience with cloud-native products and an in-depth understanding of microservice topologies and implementations.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and proactively solve business, product, and technical challenges.
  • Experience transforming traditional data center security measures into cloud technologies.
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to partner effectively with engineering counterparts on technical decisions.
  • Comfort speaking authoritatively on tools and topics such as Jira, Aha, AWS, GCP, Azure, Okta, Bug Bounties, DLP, Secure Web Browsing, and Data Classification.
