Description

  • Define and execute the roadmap for embedding AI into the core product experience.
  • Partner with Product and Design to identify high-impact AI opportunities that improve user outcomes and experiences.
  • Establish principles and guardrails for trustworthy, explainable, and values-aligned AI capabilities.
  • Lead AI initiatives from concept through production and ensure measurable business impact.
  • Architect scalable AI solutions using third-party models, supporting infrastructure, and reliability/performance best practices.
  • Partner with Engineering, Security, Legal, Compliance, and Data teams on execution, governance, and risk management.
  • Create operating models, workflows, and collaboration patterns that support safe and efficient AI adoption.
  • Engage with clients and strategic partners to build trust and incorporate external feedback into priorities and safeguards.
  • Champion AI-driven engineering productivity through coding assistance, test generation, and developer experience improvements.
  • Build reusable foundational AI capabilities, tooling, and infrastructure across teams.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership roles.
  • Experience delivering complex, high-impact systems.
  • Proven track record of bringing AI-enabled or data-driven capabilities into production products at scale.
  • Strong understanding of modern applied AI capabilities and how to integrate them into real-world systems.
  • Experience evaluating build-vs-buy decisions and integrating third-party platforms and services.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product value, business impact, and user outcomes.
  • Experience establishing governance, security, and responsible use practices for emerging technologies.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on technical depth with a bias for execution and pragmatic problem solving.
  • Experience deploying technology solutions in regulated or privacy-sensitive environments is a strong plus.
