Description

  • Develop and own the Foundation's commercial strategy in alignment with its mission.
  • Bring a commercial perspective to product development and organisational strategy.
  • Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities, partnerships, and income models.
  • Drive commercial revenue growth and accountability against targets.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies for priority countries and territories.
  • Manage relationships with global manufacturers and distributors to activate the sales network.
  • Grow existing routes to market, including the Channel Partner programme, and identify new channels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with partnerships and marketing teams to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Work with manufacturing partners to strengthen supply chain resilience and manufacturing best practice.
  • Lead product compliance strategy with the compliance manager and external partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of senior commercial leadership with a track record of delivering sustained growth.
  • Experience in edtech, hardware, or a not-for-profit/social enterprise environment.
  • Ability to operate commercially within a mission-led organisation focused on impact for children and educators.
  • Demonstrable commitment to the Foundation's mission and values.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience building coalitions and momentum.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Experience building and leading diverse, remote teams.
  • Track record of collaborating across functions to achieve shared goals.
  • Experience leading commercial initiatives across international markets with cultural awareness.
  • Experience working in a small, scaling, or start-up organisation.
