Description

  • Use phone, email, LinkedIn, and live chat to engage prospective customers.
  • Follow up on inbound marketing-qualified leads and drive them to booked meetings and sales opportunities.
  • Prospect outbound to generate new meetings and opportunities.
  • Qualify prospects to determine whether Megaport is a suitable solution.
  • Identify, source, and manage sales opportunities aligned with the ideal customer profile.
  • Maintain and update contact and account information in Salesforce CRM.
  • Coordinate with sales executives, solution architects, and account teams to qualify prospects and schedule demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on demand generation campaigns and drive attendance to company events and trade shows.
  • Learn Megaport solutions and communicate the value proposition to different customer personas.
  • Manage a pipeline of interested prospects while meeting weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of SaaS, networking, or cloud offerings preferred.
  • 6+ months of B2B sales development experience preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or startup environment preferred.
  • Japanese language skills preferred.
