Description

  • Execute outbound outreach through phone, email, and social channels to identify, engage, and qualify public safety agencies.
  • Research and prospect into new agencies to build awareness and generate pipeline within assigned territories.
  • Respond to inbound leads, assess fit, and coordinate timely handoff to Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives on messaging, territory strategy, and lead prioritization.
  • Partner with Marketing on campaigns, lead follow-up, and outbound call blitzes tied to events or content launches.
  • Maintain accurate lead data, outreach activity, and notes in Salesforce and the sales engagement platform.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Mark43’s value proposition and product capabilities to position solutions in early conversations.
  • Meet and exceed activity-based and meeting-based goals as part of the SDR team.
  • Deliver a professional and positive early experience for prospective customers.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of sales development or inside sales experience, preferably in a SaaS or high-volume environment.
  • Proven history of meeting activity-based quotas.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including confidence with high-frequency cold calling.
  • Experience with Salesforce and a modern sales engagement tool.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong organizational skills and a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven role.
  • Interest in public sector or government technology is advantageous but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the country where the role is hired; no visa sponsorship available at this time.
  • Must be able to work remotely from one of the approved locations in Canada, the UK, or eligible U.S. states.
