Description

  • Own and grow a named portfolio of existing payments partnerships to expand business value and accelerate revenue.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing partner relationships that support Affirm’s growth objectives.
  • Execute go-to-market strategies tailored to each partnership and coordinate cross-functional execution plans.
  • Negotiate partnership amendments and renewals to support changing business needs.
  • Build trusted relationships across partner organizations, from working teams to mid-level leaders.
  • Monitor and optimize partnership performance using data-driven insights and KPIs.
  • Act as an internal advocate for partners while maintaining high standards for performance and value creation.
  • Collaborate with Product and Sales to support roadmaps and campaigns for strategic partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or a similar growth-focused role.
  • Experience in high-growth tech or fintech environments, preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable growth through partnerships.
  • Strong commercial instincts with the ability to assess opportunities and drive deals from ideation to execution.
  • Understanding of go-to-market strategy development and cross-functional execution.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
  • Experience navigating fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving priorities.
  • Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or financial services, preferred.
  • Prior experience working with or within high-impact partner ecosystems, preferred.
