Description

  • Work with enterprise account executives to map target accounts and identify entry points across security, platform, and engineering teams.
  • Run personalized, technical outbound outreach tailored to developers, DevOps, and security leaders.
  • Research how companies build and ship software to make outreach credible and relevant.
  • Lead early conversations by qualifying technical context, risk posture, and business priorities.
  • Build pipeline with a focus on opportunity quality and progression, not just meeting volume.
  • Collaborate with AEs on account plans, messaging, and deal progression.
  • Use Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, and data tools to execute the outbound motion efficiently.
  • Test messaging, share insights, and help refine how the company engages the market.
  • Feed conversation insights back to marketing and product, especially around what resonates with technical buyers.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience as a BDR or SDR, ideally with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting.
  • Experience engaging multiple stakeholders within technical or complex organizations.
  • Strong writing skills, especially for personalized and relevant outreach.
  • Curiosity and motivation to learn how modern software and security work.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and building your own approach.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, or similar sales tools.
  • Track record of hitting or exceeding pipeline targets.
  • Experience with containers, CI/CD, or cloud environments is preferred.
  • Experience selling into security, platform, or engineering teams is a plus.
