Description

  • Build and grow a pipeline of commercial customers across the Americas, with a primary focus on the U.S. market.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with commercial operators, integrators, and technology companies deploying payloads on Loft's infrastructure.
  • Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships that expand Loft's ability to deliver space infrastructure-as-a-service at scale.
  • Shape and localize go-to-market strategy for the Americas in collaboration with Loft's global business development team.
  • Work closely with technical and product teams to ensure customer requirements inform the platform and product roadmap.
  • Lead customer acquisition efforts across the commercial space ecosystem, including Earth observation, IoT, edge computing, and technology demonstration segments.
  • Lead and/or contribute to proposals and contract negotiations for complex commercial opportunities.
  • Attend and speak at U.S. and Americas space industry events to strengthen Loft's regional brand presence.
  • Represent Loft credibly with technical and commercial stakeholders across the space industry.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or strategic partnerships in the commercial space sector.
  • Proven track record of selling to commercial customers and capturing new business in the U.S. commercial space landscape.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and building lasting customer relationships.
  • Experience selling complex technical solutions in space or adjacent technology sectors.
  • Experience leading and/or contributing to proposals and contract negotiations.
  • Strong knowledge of space systems, including satellite subsystems, launch, and mission design.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for the space industry and interest in working on a fast-paced, mission-driven team.
  • Established commercial network across Earth observation, communications, IoT, and/or technology demonstration segments in the U.S. and broader Americas (preferred).
  • Relationships within the U.S. civil space ecosystem, including NASA, NOAA, FFRDCs, national labs, and major primes (preferred).
  • Experience winning proposals for spacecraft development programs (preferred).
  • Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, or other European languages (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
