Description

  • Proactively reach out to existing customers to promote Lightspeed Capital and other financial services offerings.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with merchants across your assigned book of business.
  • Identify funding opportunities within the portfolio and position the offering effectively.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to grow the book of business.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through exceptional service and territory management.
  • Coordinate with the regional Account Management leader to maximize opportunities in the assigned territory.
  • Provide regular feedback to internal business leaders and serve as the voice of the merchant.
  • Communicate the risk-based nature of merchant cash advances to merchants with support from the Risk team.

Requirements

  • Sales experience, preferably in financial services, with a track record of high performance over several years.
  • Experience with solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment.
  • Ability to use Salesforce.com and other tools to manage and organize pipeline.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid internal and external partnerships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with adjacent teams and maintain positive relationships.
  • Experience selling a financial service product (preferred).
