Description

  • Lead architectural design and drive technology strategy across one or more technical domains.
  • Partner with strategic leadership, C-suite stakeholders, and delivery teams to create statements of work and evolve enterprise architecture viewpoints.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients by guiding engineering best practices and transformational DevOps approaches.
  • Own client relationships with executive stakeholders such as CTOs, CIOs, and Chief Architects.
  • Architect enterprise solutions, reduce technical debt, and provide oversight for complex workstreams.
  • Guide and collaborate with Liatrio and client architects and engineers to set and drive technical roadmaps.
  • Anticipate conflicting priorities, clarify technical direction, and simplify complex work for clients and internal teams.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 4-8 direct reports through weekly 1:1s, feedback, and coaching.
  • Drive team morale, alignment, staffing, and burnout prevention across engagements.
  • Support customer growth, expansion opportunities, and development of Liatrio intellectual property and accelerators.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in roles such as Enterprise Architect, Strategic Architect, Field CTO, Head of DevOps, Head of Engineering, or Head of a Cloud Center of Excellence.
  • Senior Director-level experience with broad ownership of technical direction and client advisory work.
  • Strong experience in enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, platform engineering, data center architecture, or systems architecture.
  • Advanced experience with CI/CD and delivery automation tools such as CircleCI, Argo CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and Istio.
  • Experience with cloud providers including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Grafana, DataDog, or Zipkin.
  • Ability to review application code and train or upskill engineers across the SDLC.
  • Authorized to work in the United States or Canada without sponsorship.
  • Able to travel onsite with clients approximately 50% of the time, including majority U.S. travel and occasional international travel.
  • Preferred: experience coaching, mentoring, transferring knowledge, and enabling client teams through training and upskilling.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary of $210,000 to $240,000 depending on experience.
