Description

  • Initiate outbound communication with qualified prospects using a consultative sales approach.
  • Make outbound calls, engage prospects, and develop opportunities for the sales team to close.
  • Document, track, and monitor leads and activities in Salesforce.com.
  • Contact and schedule appointments for Account Executives in target verticals.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to identify and source potential leads.
  • Nurture longer-term prospects through the sales development process.
  • Maintain favorable contact with current and potential accounts.
  • Support overall sales coordination, support, and facilitation activities.
  • Build a strong understanding of B2B sales concepts.
  • Assess prospect fit and maintain a high call rate.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills via phone and email.
  • Ability to spend 85% of the day on the phone.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels, including external executives.
  • PC literacy with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong probing, listening, time management, planning, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high call rate and assess prospect fit.
  • High energy and strong execution style.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, and/or account support (preferred).
  • Experience in technology B2B sales or familiarity with SaaS sales and consulting engagements (preferred).
  • Salesforce.com experience (preferred).
