Description

  • Initiate outbound and inbound communication with prospects.
  • Contact qualified prospects using a consultative sales approach.
  • Make outbound calls and develop prospects for the sales team to close.
  • Document, track, and monitor leads and activities in Salesforce.com.
  • Schedule appointments for Account Executives in target verticals.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to identify and source potential leads.
  • Nurture longer-term prospects through the sales process.
  • Maintain favorable contact with current and potential accounts.
  • Support overall sales coordination, facilitation, and sales support activities.
  • Build a solid understanding of B2B sales concepts.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills by phone and email.
  • Ability to spend 85% of the day on the phone.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with individuals at all levels, including external executives.
  • PC literacy with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain a high call rate and assess prospect fit.
  • Excellent probing and listening skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to bring energy to tasks.
  • Sales, marketing, or account support experience is preferred.
  • Technology B2B sales experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SaaS sales and consulting engagements is a plus.
  • Salesforce.com experience is preferred.
