Description

  • Design and develop scalable server-side applications and microservices.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints.
  • Design and manage relational or NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
  • Write clean, testable code with unit and integration test coverage.
  • Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, data, and product teams on architecture and integration.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and scalability issues.
  • Maintain API documentation and technical specifications.
  • Monitor production systems and respond to incidents to support high availability.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of professional back-end engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one back-end language: Node.js, Python, Java, Go, Ruby, or PHP.
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and SQL.
  • Understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean-code practices.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Experience with authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB preferred.
  • Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, and serverless architectures preferred.
  • Knowledge of message queues, event-driven architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, or GraphQL preferred.
