Description

  • Own the CRO’s operating rhythm, including QBRs, pipeline reviews, leadership offsites, and board and investor materials.
  • Translate CRO priorities into clear workstreams, track progress, surface blockers early, and maintain leadership accountability.
  • Prepare the CRO for high-stakes interactions such as PE board sessions, OEM partner meetings, and internal all-hands.
  • Continuously scan the competitive and market landscape and bring informed perspectives on SaaS, AI, and automotive industry shifts.
  • Partner with Sales Ops, Finance, and regional sales leaders to maintain visibility into revenue health metrics such as ARR, NRR, pipeline coverage, quota attainment, and CAC.
  • Identify execution breakdowns across the sales organisation and drive focused interventions.
  • Support the design and governance of sales incentives, territory structures, and go-to-market operating models.
  • Serve as a connector between Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance to keep cross-functional dependencies moving.
  • Support the CRO in building their profile with OEM partners, enterprise customers, and industry audiences.
  • Draft and shape CRO communications, including internal messaging, customer narratives, investor updates, and conference content.
  • Represent the CRO in internal forums when appropriate and bring back actionable outcomes.
  • Work with Product and GTM teams to assess AI-enabled opportunities and frame them commercially for the CRO.

Requirements

  • Experience in enterprise SaaS, ideally with exposure to complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Understanding of ARR, NRR, churn dynamics, and how SaaS businesses scale; automotive experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in or alongside a PE-backed business.
  • Ability to operate in environments where pace, financial clarity, and value creation metrics matter.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including the ability to build models and interrogate business cases.
  • Understanding of sales operations fundamentals such as MEDDIC or equivalent pipeline methodology, quota design, territory management, forecasting discipline, and GTM structure.
  • Practical opinions on AI and technology applications in sales, customer engagement, and software product development; engineering background is not required.
  • Proven execution capability, with a track record of taking ownership, removing blockers, and closing loops.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write board papers and represent the CRO credibly.
  • Ability to read the room, prepare proactively, and work with complexity and ambiguity.
  • Academic qualifications are not required; selection is based on experience and potential rather than credentials.
