Description

  • Own and grow a specific market, territory, or industry segment as a business line within the company.
  • Run high-impact product demos that show prospects how SmartBox solves their operational challenges.
  • Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach through negotiation and close.
  • Experiment with new outreach methods and refine messaging to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term customer success.
  • Build new opportunities and close deals in a way that expands the company’s presence in assigned markets.
  • Apply an entrepreneurial approach to developing and managing the assigned book of business.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B SaaS or high-velocity sales experience with a track record of consistently closing new business.
  • Self-starter who is energized by ownership and can create new sales plays.
  • Resilient and resourceful, with the ability to keep going after rejection and find new ways to win.
  • Passionate about learning products and showing customers how they can transform operations.
  • Startup-minded, flexible, collaborative, and willing to contribute beyond the immediate role.
  • Sales experience in hospitality, property management, fleet/logistics, facilities/security, or government services is a plus.
  • Background in IoT, access control, or hardware-enabled SaaS is a plus.
  • Sales experience in first responder or energy sectors is a plus.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $50k-$60k plus uncapped commission.
  • Expected on-target earnings of $85k-$100k.
