Description

  • Create and design training curricula within time and budget constraints for brand, industry, product, technology, and process best practices.
  • Produce physical and digital learning materials, including videos and case studies, covering call scripting, merchant qualification, contracts, lender and competitor training, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain current training best practices across the sales division.
  • Conduct skills gap analyses and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in call listening to provide coaching and feedback to sales representatives.
  • Deliver cross-departmental training to help teams understand how different divisions work together.
  • Collect feedback from trainees and managers to improve training courses.
  • Develop individual coaching plans for salespeople and hold review sessions on strengths and weaknesses.
  • Conduct audits of sales adherence to legal and compliance requirements and reinforce compliance risks.
  • Work with product teams to identify upcoming releases and prepare sales teams for new features.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 3+ years of experience in a training capacity.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Trainer or in a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of CRM systems, with Salesforce preferred.
  • Knowledge of dialer systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of different sales tactics.
  • Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms and live classroom training.
  • Previous experience as a high-performing salesperson.
  • History of working with small business owners.
  • Ability to listen to phone calls and gauge buying signals.
  • Experience in the financial industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to partner with multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, high credibility, and the ability to adapt training to different development levels.
