Description

  • Build and manage a pipeline of strategic partnerships, vertical sales opportunities, and new commercial programs.
  • Personally prospect, make outreach, open doors, and move opportunities from idea to meeting, pilot, and revenue.
  • Develop business cases for new opportunities based on revenue, margin, effort, timing, and scalability.
  • Lead and improve the sales function with outbound motions, KPIs, scripts, and accountability.
  • Assess the current sales team and recommend changes to structure, process, and incentives.
  • Own and expand strategic partnership deals, including co-marketing, referral, white-label, and embedded commerce opportunities.
  • Negotiate partnership terms alongside the CEO and cross-functional leaders.
  • Identify and test niche market segments with repeatable sales plays and targeted campaigns.
  • Partner with Ecommerce, Technology, Operations, Finance, and CX to ensure new opportunities are feasible, supported, and profitable.
  • Own pipeline and revenue reporting, track leading indicators, and regularly update the CEO on progress and impact.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to create revenue from scratch through outbound sales, business development, partnerships, or new-market development.
  • Willingness to personally prospect and lead outreach.
  • Ability to manage, reset, or upgrade a sales team.
  • Strong commercial judgment around revenue, margin, timing, and effort.
  • Entrepreneurial urgency and comfort working without a perfect playbook.
  • Experience in print-on-demand, office products, ecommerce, shipping/logistics, promotional products, or B2B ecommerce is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce metrics such as CAC, LTV, AOV, and contribution margin is a strong plus.
  • Existing relevant relationships in adjacent markets or channel/procurement spaces is a strong plus.
  • Comfort moving between senior external partner conversations, cold prospecting, niche campaign testing, and performance analysis.
  • Fluency in ecommerce fundamentals including partnerships, sales, channels, landing pages, customer experience, and repeat purchase.
