Description

  • Validate new features across both the frontend and backend.
  • Design comprehensive test strategies for web applications.
  • Automate tests where needed to improve coverage and efficiency.
  • Help build quality into every release.
  • Investigate complex systems from both user and engineering perspectives.
  • Collaborate closely with developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Track and manage work using bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira.
  • Apply sound judgment while following company policies and protecting business operations and brand integrity.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience as an SDET for web applications.
  • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Significant experience writing and maintaining automated tests using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.
  • Experience testing both web UIs and REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of browser developer tools and HTTP concepts.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
  • Experience working with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
