Description

  • Maintain and enhance existing automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications to support sprint goals.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify, report, and track defects in Jira.
  • Run regression, smoke, and sanity test suites and analyze results.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
  • Contribute to test documentation and testing progress updates.
  • Assist with integrating automated tests into TestOps under guidance.
  • Learn and adopt new testing tools and methodologies as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Basic knowledge of API testing tools such as REST Assured or Postman.
  • Solid understanding of SQL fundamentals.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Git version control.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver, API automation, and UI/API framework maintenance.
  • TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest experience.
  • Preferred experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Preferred experience testing web and APIs.
  • Preferred experience with CI/CD implementation.
  • Preferred ability to troubleshoot automation failures efficiently.
  • Performance testing experience with JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
  • Security testing basics, Docker knowledge, cross-browser testing, and mobile testing experience are nice to have.
  • Location preference: India, with Bangalore preferred.
