Description

Maintain and enhance existing automated test scripts and frameworks.
Execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications to support sprint goals.
Collaborate with developers to identify, report, and track defects in Jira.
Run regression, smoke, and sanity test suites and analyze results.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
Contribute to test documentation and testing progress updates.
Assist with integrating automated tests into TestOps under guidance.
Learn and adopt new testing tools and methodologies as needed.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in software testing and automation.
Proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
Basic knowledge of API testing tools such as REST Assured or Postman.
Solid understanding of SQL fundamentals.
Experience with Agile methodologies and Git version control.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver, API automation, and UI/API framework maintenance.
TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest experience.
Preferred experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
Preferred experience testing web and APIs.
Preferred experience with CI/CD implementation.
Preferred ability to troubleshoot automation failures efficiently.
Performance testing experience with JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
Security testing basics, Docker knowledge, cross-browser testing, and mobile testing experience are nice to have.
Location preference: India, with Bangalore preferred.
