Description

  • Drive demand and build awareness of Inovalon’s products through in-person, virtual, and phone outreach to prospects and existing relationships.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through close while maintaining pipeline discipline and timely follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce, including pipeline hygiene, forecasting, and sales operations processes.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop net-new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Inovalon’s enterprise solutions and connect opportunities across business units to maximize customer value.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to qualify accounts, coordinate demonstrations, and support opportunity management.
  • Lead or support product presentations, solution positioning, and demonstration activities.
  • Gather and share customer insights, competitive trends, and market needs with Marketing to inform strategy.
  • Conduct discovery conversations and needs assessments with customer decision-makers to advance opportunities.
  • Travel to meet prospective and existing clients, strengthen relationships, and support sales outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of progressive sales or business development experience, preferably in healthcare, health technology, or the payer/provider space.
  • Demonstrated success managing a territory or book of business with measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Proven consultative, solution-based selling experience, including discovery, value proposition development, and cross-functional influence.
  • Experience with accurate pipeline management, forecasting discipline, and CRM hygiene; Salesforce strongly preferred.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical or clinical concepts into business value.
  • Ability to independently manage the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing.
  • Strong territory planning and prioritization skills with the ability to balance new business generation and account expansion.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic, value-based discussions with C-suite decision-makers on complex opportunities.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • BA or BS degree in a technical, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Up to 25% travel required.
