Description

  • Develop, build, and expand referral relationships with tech partners, HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space.
  • Create strategic referral networks and partnerships focused on lead generation and new business opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and resolve partnership issues by working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance.
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing to plan and execute partner sales initiatives such as educational events, email campaigns, and webinars.
  • Work with partners to define business goals and performance metrics and execute go-to-market and demand-generation strategies.
  • Manage and grow key accounts and partnership opportunities for the company’s Partnership Program.
  • Use independent judgment and discretion to develop solutions to operational partnership challenges.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining relationships with tech and HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space.
  • Experience in territory sales and business development.
  • Proven track record of success in a quota-driven sales environment.
  • Ability to operate independently as a highly motivated individual contributor and relationship builder.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Resilient, resourceful, and able to find creative ways to get things done.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity using Salesforce to manage sales cycles is preferred.
  • Ability to travel and be in the field 3 days per week.
  • Growth mindset and ability to absorb feedback, training, and guidance and execute effectively.

  • Total On Target Earnings of $135,000 - $140,000, including a base salary of $70,000 and a variable target compensation of $70,000.
