Description

  • Explore and onboard new partnership opportunities with VCs, accelerators, and incubators.
  • Manage existing startup partners to deepen portfolio company penetration and drive growth.
  • Build trust with partners, establish credibility, and hold them accountable.
  • Educate startups on growth strategy, including sales, marketing, AI, fundraising, and the HubSpot platform.
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to ensure partner and startup experiences are frictionless.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leadership to drive revenue, product adoption, and market penetration.
  • Share market research, partnership development insights, and startup development updates with leadership.
  • Drive new customer acquisition and support the sales team in effective interactions with startups.
  • Travel occasionally for international and in-country events, approximately 5%.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales.
  • Experience working with or within startups.
  • Understanding of the accelerator, incubator, and venture capital industries.
  • Proactive, curious, and detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong negotiation skills and business acumen.
  • Experience working in a global team and with cross-functional departments.
  • Comfortable delivering public presentations.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding measurable performance goals such as qualified leads, new customers, and MRR.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and conversations.
  • Fluency using CRM tools for communication and sales conversations.
  • Compassion, empathy, and strong communication skills.
